Charles Ramsey rules! Thank god he decided to get involved. So many would have ignored those screams.
ReplyDeleteAmanda deserves most of the credit. But if Charles did not respond to the noise and assist in getting the door open, the kidnapper could of returned home within minutes, caught her, and this story would of had a different ending. The guy was caught close by. At the police press conference they did not even mention Charles Ramsey. Most people know his role but the police could of fucking acknowledged him.
DeleteThe real hero here is Mcdonalds. Cheap, easy to hold sustenance, reliable locations. Without Mcdonalds this story would have had a different ending.

I get where people are coming from in regards to the Stanhope critiques as well as those who are opposed to Jimmy's addiction rants when he battled 'sobriety' in his teens. I do not think it relates much.
ReplyDeleteKidnapping stories like that are so fucked up. Amazing that the girl was finally able to get free. I know that there are cases of Stockholm Syndrome in cases like these, but this girl absolutely did not sound like she had it. Hopefully they all will get some space from the media and all the girls can adjust back to a fulfilling life.
