DeleteIn the last 30 minutes, Jimmy gets word that Sirius shelved the live event they asked for.. he is furious and they talk about leaving next year. It's interrupted by even more flogging of the Rob Ford horse though.
DeleteI bailed during Zimmerman's 911 call, I thought the speculating on whether he was innocent or not would've ended when he was found not guilty. What a fucking dumb asshole I am.

The hunting segment really was a disaster. I didn't hear any references to a source beyond seeing a picture. At least with Opie he would have went through the article and tried to read it while struggling to comprehend it. For all they know she gave the meat to the people there, and that was Jim's big argument presented in Opie fashing by repeating it over and over. It may have even been a case where they issue a permit for a lot of money and then use that money to fund preservation efforts. I haven't done the research either, but I'm not going to present this to a national audience and speculate for an hour.
ReplyDeleteAs far as a "beautiful" lion "not having a good life" and being "murdered", maybe Jim should look into factory farming. He can also look into how much land is cleared to raise cattle. I'm not stucking up for hunting specifically as I don't hunt or even like the idea of locking an animal in my house and neutering it so that I can pet it and put funny videos on the internet.
As far as the moral angle, what is more detrimental to society, a lady that seems to be a responsible person (and aren't hunters like this often conservationists?) or Jim who has pumped incredible amounts of money into a shadow economy of prostitution and everything surrounding that (abuse, drugs, not taxed, etc.)
The ultimate hypocrisy is that if Jim could buy a permit to hunt a celebrity he would absolutely do it. I can see the photo in my head where Jim is flashing one of his shit eating grins while kneeling next to a dead Robert DeNiro.
Who is more the "non-contributing zero" the woman who went to college and is working to get a job at a young age or Jim that dropped out of high school and worked dead end jobs? It is a stroke of luck today that we have Jim doing comedy and making us laugh with tranny jokes instead of him having AIDS for all the unprotected sex he has had with prostitutes sitting at home with a robe sipping broth while we all pay for his AZT medicine.
