2 a's, 2 b's, 2 guys, 2 girls. Jimmy riffing on abba and symmetry reminds me of my annoying boss at the market i work at. Everything must be symmetrical, its pleasing to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteAnother fighter, boring Sidney. They assume (rightly) that actors drag the show down, but just because they have a male demo, that doesn't mean athletes aren't equally as dull.

DeleteI haven't heard Sam yet, but I hope he at least focuses on the music which would make it better than O&As awful take on them. Also, here is another case where Jimmy is introduced to popular music that he knows nothing about.
DeleteCan you believe these guys are debating whether 60 year old women are still attractive (well, that is my word, of course studs like them use the word "hot")? They then go on to say the girls were never attractive and that the "blonde girl" was a "just OK". An opinion is one thing, but we have plenty of evidence of them hyping girls up like their interns, Sam's wife, ERock's wife, Anthony's white trash conquests, and many others. It makes it impossible to wrap one's head around such statements both in terms of them being incredibly false and the reasons for even saying them.
Opie and friends wonder why people hate him on social media, but he is really a mean spirited dick. I actually aspire to be as mean as him when going after him. These guys make it easy to root for their failure.

DeleteI have a problem with both sides of his "He is great, but.." attack on Will Ferrel. His initial praise is way overblown as was his criticism.

For the people that don't get the lack of love for Opie and would like to; that segment is a good primer. He is almost always extremely agitated whenever he is discussing something. He is quick to call everyone else an idiot and talk about how smart he is. If you miss the comedy he will repeat it for you until you get it.
While listening to them talk about that veteran, all I could hear was Burr going off about how they're so habitually negative.

Sam is such a fuckin loser talking shit about ABBA.They were fuckin huge in the 70s and wernt even american he always talks about jay z but none will give a fuck about him in 10 years also only people that like rap are blacks and wiggers.Even when rap was at its peak in the early 90s it was nothing compared to what was happening in NY with the house music and every one taking xtasy.I guarentee you he is a guy who never leaves his home other than to work and hass no idea about sub culture other then he what reads in magazines

O&A always ask the "why are they famous?" question while covering the stories about the person without ever seeing the irony. I'd like to see the high road taken once in awhile. I could live with a blackout on all Kardashian and Miley Cyrus coverage.
