There are a few one second skips. It was in the stream and nothing I could do. This is why we need more uploaders as shit like this happens.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, whenever Anthony talks about people being corrupt (like the MTA or government in general) just remember what an admitted piece of garbage he was and is. He has so many little stories about not paying rent, taking the company van, using the company credit card (ex. to buy lobsters), drunk driving, getting out of all manner of tickets due to his connections, and so on. I'm not sure he has ever made that connection between himself and people he talks about.

Op was absent for the same reason he's been absent for the last few Fridays.. Jimmy said why on the Friday he did a show with Bobby and Sam. He's taking a some Fridays off instead of taking a full week or two to go on vacation.

DeleteSo fucking happy when I saw Carolla mentioned as a guest. He's been aware of Opie's reaction to him that day for so long so it was all the more great of him to show up. He has a lot in common with both Op and Ant, he'd be perfect as a regular if he lived closer.
DeleteCan't understand why his comedy isn't more renown. He has stream-of-consciousness bits that are funnier and more insightful than 2 years worth of any international headliner right now.

DeleteDon't get me wrong, today's show was one of the better recent ones but Ant's habit of repeating a word someone else just said (something even he's made reference to) really stood out. That said, I'd rather an instant reminder of something funny over Op's fake outrage high voice.. that shit is even wearing me down.
DeleteYou gotta admit that that air conditioning story Ant told was pretty awesome. I didn't really have that big of a problem with today's specific show maybe except that Sam takes a while to get used to and that Dominican broad they had in studio was pretty stupid.

ReplyDeleteIf anyone is stupid it's a radio host that thinks it is a brilliant idea to bring in a stripper. Strippers on the radio are only ever entertaining to the listeners when the DO disappoint. She didn't really disappoint anyone other than needy Jimmy who was especially needy when he didn't get the caliber of celebrity phone calls he expected.
